Glasgow University Emergency Medicine Society is pleased to announce the return of our National Undergraduate Emergency Medicine Conference for 2015! The conference is open to any student interested in Acute and Emergency Medicine, and is being at the Wolfson Medical School Building, Glasgow.
The conference consists of a day of lectures, clinical skills and workshops taught by experienced clinicians and leaders in the field of Emergency Medicine.
Lectures include Emergencies in Sport, Medicine in the Military, Challenges in A&E, and Retrieval Medicine from London Air Ambulance. For a full list of lectures please see our provisional programme.
Staff will be helping to deliver workshops on Advanced Life Support and Interpretation of results. Clinical skills include Airway Management & Intubation and Suturing.
The conference also provides the opportunity to present posters in the field of Emergency Medicine or in allied specialties. Posters will be eligible for awards and prizes! Please see our poster submission page for more details. There will also be a social function on Saturday evening for the delegates to meet each other and network.
