Glasgow University Emergency Medicine Society is pleased to announce the return of our highly popular National Undergraduate Emergency Medicine Conference for 2019! We welcome any and all students with an interest in Acute and Emergency Medicine.
Join us on Saturday 23th November at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Teaching and Learning Centre.
In the morning, we have 7 clinical leaders in the field of Emergency Medicine giving highly varied and interesting talks such as what it’s like to work in the field, emergencies in space, rock & roll in healthcare and many more.
The afternoon will focus around an emergency scenario. This will incorporate clinical skills such as A-E assessment, airway management, C-spine immobilisation, splinting, cannulas and X-ray analysis.
The conference also provides the opportunity to present posters in the field of Emergency Medicine or in allied specialties. Posters will be eligible for awards and prizes!
Snacks & lunch will be provided.
Booking is now open, for the price of £17.
Full Program will be available soon.
GUEMS are very proud and grateful to announce MDU, @RCollEM and the University of Glasgow as sponsors for our 2019 Conference, with @RCPSGlasgow providing fantastic poster prizes for abstract submissions and NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde for helping with the incredible venue.
